THE attention of Applicants for Allotments in this Reserve is called to the following Clauses in the Tikokino Reserve Act, viz : 11. In all cases in which such purchasers as aforesaid shall have taken possession of and shall have expended money on their allotments, And in all cases in which the General or Provincial Government shall before the passing of this Act have agreed to grant to such purchasers specific allotments of land the Governor may issue to such persons respectively Crown Grants of their respective allotments subject to the provisions of this Act. 111. Every such Grant shall be held subject to the payment of the sum of ten shillings per acre at the expiration of ten yews from the date thereof with interest after the rate of ten pounds per cent, per annum payable half-yearly and such sum and interest shall be deemed to be a tax on such land and may be recovered by any Commissioner of Crown Lands or other person appointed by the Governor in that behalf as a Rate Assessment or Liability recoverable under the “ Sale for Non-payment of{Rates Act 1862.” IV. Provided that application in writing bo made by the parties claiming the benefit of this Act to the Commissioner of Crown Lands of the Province of Hawke’s Bay within six months after the passing of this Act.
