The Ferry Punt will bo kept in constant repair by the Provincial Government. The Ferryman will bo required to bo in attendance from sunrise throughout the year to nine o’clock p.m. in summer and seven o’clock in winter, and will be authorised to collect tolls according to the undermentioned scale, viz; — s. d. PARTIES tendering for any of the abovementioned articles must, specify in their tenders the names of their sureties, who will be bound conjointly in a bond for a regular sup, !y of the article or articles they may engage to furnish. It shall be distinctly understood that in all cases the articles are to bo of the best description ; and should any bad or faulty articles be furnished by the contractor, no payment will bo made for the same, and they will have to take them back at their own expense, and supply a good article in their place ; failing which, the Provincial Government may order them to bo procured at the expense of the contractor wherever they can be obtained.
