To the Editor of the Hawke's Bay Times.
Sie, —I have lately noticed letters signed “Wm. Colenso” addressed in very respectful phraseology to the editor of the Hawke's Bay Herald. Surely this is not the same Mr. C. who addresses yon, and whom you have supported so pluckily upon principle. This, to us who have been, with you, supporters of Mr. C., if I am right in supposing it is the Mr. C., is rather incomprehensible. “ Fast and loose” is an active but dangerous game. Yours, A Plumper for C. Napier, 30th Sept.
