Napier, September 29, 1863. Y virtue and in exercise of the power and authority for this purpose vested in me, I, George Stoddart Whitmore, Major, the Officer Commanding in the Napier Militia District, do hereby fix and appoint the times and places hereunder written to be the times and places for the training and exercise of such of the men of the first and second classes of the Militia and Volunteers of the Napier District as are resident within the limits of the Township of Napier. TIME. PLACE. Saturday, the 3rd The usual Parade of October instant, at Ground. 3 o'clock p.m, and on such one day in each succeeding week as the Commanding officer shall, on the recommendation of Capts. of Companys, hereafter direct. G. S. Whitmore, Commanding Officer.
