CORRESPONDENCE.

To the Editor of the Hatvke's Bay Times.

Me. Editoe, —Sie, —What is your opinion of the Napier Militia uniform ? I think myself it is a disgrace to New Zealand. There was a deal of argument among them as to their dress, but it was soon decided that they should have a blue shirt and a thing to stick on their head, with two ornaments, namely, a leather strap and a lump of woolly stuff to stick on the top, but withoiit-trou-sers or boots. Surely their appearance must be very gratifying to their officers. I should like General Cameron to see them muster. I remain, Yours truly, AN OBSERVER.
