lations for the management of officers for the Registration of Brands, and other marks in accordance with the terms of clause 3 of an Act of the Provincial Council of Hawke’s Bay, Session VI, No. 2, intituled “ An Act to repeal the various Acts^relating to Sheep and the disease in Sheep called Scab, and to make other provision in behalf of the same,” have been made by the Superintendent with the advice and consent of the Executive Council: 1. The Registrar will attend for the] purpose of receiving the ear-marks &c., of persons wishing to avail themselves of his personal attendance at the places and timesjnamed in the following list: — LIST. Porangahau... Lamb’s July 28 Waipukurau Hotel July 30 Ruataniwha... Mr. Grant’s Woolshed ...Aug 1 Waipawa ... At Court House Aug 4 Patangata ... Kelly’s Hotel Aug 6 Ngaruroro... Mr. M’Lean’s Woolshed Aug 10 Napier At the Prov. Govt. Offices Aug 12 Petane ... M’Carthy’s Aug 14 2. The Registrar will attend for the above purpose also on the second Thursday in each month at the Court House Waipawa and all applications made in writing should be addressed to the Registrar of Brands, Waipawa. It is requested that all written applications to register should include a diagram of both ears of the sheep with the mark intended to be registered delineated thereon. 3. It is also hereby notified the fee to he paid to the Registrar should be at the rate of ten shillings for each ear-mark or other mark registered. DONALD M’LEAN. Superintendent. Napier, June 30, 1863.
