AIIEIVED. June 6— Esther, brigantine, from Wellington, with general cargo. SAILED. June s— Excelsior, schooner, 52 tons, Meiklcjohn, for Auckland, with 233 bushels maize, Malt by & Co.; 15 packages sundries, lI.M. Commissariat ; 25 head of cattle, Shorson ; 1 donkey, order. Passengers,—l sergeant and I private 1-th regt.—G, E. G. Richardson, agent. Five sailing vessels at present at Chatham, the Nankin, 50 guns, the Worcester, 50, the Chichester, 50, the Diamond, 27, and the Iris, 26, are to be fitted up for the purpose of conveying distressed Lancashire operatives who may be desirous of emigrating to New Zealand and other places, where every kind of labor is in great demand. Persons desirous of emigrating will be conveyed to the colony at the expense of Government, provisions and every other requisite on board being provided for them gratuitously. Each vessel is to be fitted for an eighteen months’ cruise, and will not be provided with any armament.
