CHRISTCHURCH LITE STOCK MARKET. Mr. W. D. Baenard reports as follows for the Week ending Saturday, May 16, 1863: Horses. —Seven draught mares and geldings have been disposed of at from £42 to £B3 ; 29 saddle and light harness mares and geldings, from £l7 to £52 10s ; several colts and fillies at an average price of £l6 10s. Cattle, —Twelve milch cows have changed

hands at prices varying from £9 to £22; five pairs of working bullocks from £33 to £4O per pair. Tho demand for all kinds of useful horses is still great, and higher rates are now being realized.
