SHIPPING NEWS

The Gipsy arrived here on Saturday from the Wairoa, with a cargo of onions, maize, timber, &c. The Hero also came in the same day from Mohaka witli a cargo of sundries. The Zilldh will sail for Auckland this afternoon. The Sea Shell, whilst entering the Iron Pot yesterday, ran against the breakwater on Gough Island, knocking down a portion, and also damaging herself. She carried heavy sail at the time, and the tide was running very strongly. The LarJc, with a number of natives, including Tareha and Karauria, came in yesterday from Turanga.
