Passengers,— Mr. Cameron, the Misses Cameron, Master Cameron, Messrs. Biggs, Ferguson, and Canning.—G. E. G. Richardson, agent. The schooner Sea Breeze, Capt. Tautari, six days from Napier, was signalled at an early hour yes-
terday morning. Having powder on board she hove-to off the North Head to communicate with the pilot, and whilst there took the ground on the sand spit; on the flow of the tide she got off and proceeded up harbour. The Sea Breeze left Napier on Saturday last and experienced fine weather throughout. On Monday last passed the schooner Kauri, from this port bound to Napier, off Tologa Bay ; she appeared to be disabled, and was running under low canvas, the weather then being very fine. The Sea Breeze lost three out of twenty-seven head of cattle shipped, occasioned by shortness of food, to supply which deficiency she was compelled to put into Mercury Islands on Thursday. She also has some ten tons of powder, shot and shell, ex George Canning, for this port. The schooner Zillah, Captain Sullivan, is again on the berth for Napier. —New Zealander, April 4
