The George Canning sailed for Callao in ballast with a fair breeze, on Thursday, about 10-30 p.m. Were every English ship discharged with the despatch she has had, it would be a credit to this port. The dig of Melbourne is daily expected from Wellington to load with sheep for the Province of Otago.
