The Coming Election. —We hear that Mr. Colenso is likely to contest the election —he having been requested to do so by a large number of electors. The nomination, it will be seen, takes place this day at noon. The annual race meeting at Waipukurau, as will be seen on reference to our advertising columns, takes place on Wednesday and Thursday next. To judge from the list of entries, these races bid fair to be as well contested as those at the Napier meet were.
