By the Zillah and the Sea Breeze we have files from Auckland to the 19th inst., which contain but little news. The lamentable wreck of the Orpheus occupied the public mind in our metropolis, a “ day of mourning” having been observed for this melancholy event. A subscription list has also been opened for relief of the relatives of those who perished by this dreadful occurrence, and an inquiry had also been instituted touching the death of Charles Pascoe, the boatswain’s mate, but was adjourned to Monday the 23rd inst.
