SHIPPING NEWS.

The schooner Fawn, we perceive, is advertised, in the Wellington papers, for this port —to sail on the 17th iust., (Tuesday last.) The brigantine Dart cleared at Sydney for this port on the 22ud ult., and may now be considered over duo. The schooner Kate, Capt. Owen, arrived in Wellington harbor yesterday forenoon, 17 days out from Napier. She experienced westerly winds for four days after leaving, followed by a heavy gale from the North lasting for 20 hours, which drove her a long way out of her course, and accounts for the lengthened passage. Heavy weather was experienced the whole time. She brings 54 bales of wool and has throe passengers on board. — lndependent, Feb. 14.
