NOTICE TO ADVERTISERS. mHE HAWKE’S BAY TIMES ia published A every Monday and Feiday, and in order to secure for it an extensive circulation, no exertion will be spared to effect this desideratum. It will contain tbe latest Commercial, Shipping, Local, and General News, the state of the Markets, and other intelligence. Advertisers will, therefore, find the Hawke’s Bay Times a desirable medium for making their wants known to the public, and the commercial portion of the community will find it advantageous in giving notice of Merchandise, Produce, Stock, &c., for sale. The Terms of Advertising in the Hawke’s Bay Times are—Threepence per line for the first insertion, and for each subaecutive one, half price. Advertisements should be left at the office not later than twelve o’clock on Thursdays for publication the following day, and on Saturdays for the Monday’s issue, and should contain the number of times they are intended to be inserted, and also whether they are to appear twice or once a week only. Advertisements not containing this notification will be continued and charged for until countermanded. Orders for the withdrawal of advertisements should be sent not later than Wednesday and Friday to ensure attention in the next publications. Terms of Subscription:—Twelve shillings and sixpence per half year, payable in advance ; single copy, sixpence. Intending Subscribers should leave t.ieir names at the Office, Hastings-street, in order to ensure copies being delivered. T JOHN CHILTON LAMBTON CARTER, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby proclaim that a fiale of Crown Lands will take place at the Crown Lands Office, Napier, on Monday, the 16th day of February, 1863, at noon precisely, when the Allotments of Land specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed, and which have been duly certified by the Commissioner of Crown Lands on the application of intending purchasers, as being unavailable for agricultural purposes, will be put up to Public Auction at the upset price of ss. per acre, in accordance with the Land Regulations of the 4th March, 1853, and the additional regulations for the amendment and extension of the said regulations recommended by the Superintendent and the Council for the Province of Wellington (Session 2) to the Governor.
