Jill entries to be under sealed cover, and to be addressed to the Stewards, at Mr. Ferrers’ Star Hotel, Napier, on or before Monday, 2nd March, 1863, not later than 8 p.tn. Age of horses and colours of riders to be stated at time of entry. No person, who is not a subscriber to the amount of Two Guineas, shall bo allowed to enter a horse. Jockeys riding in any other colours than those named at time of entry, or wilfully making a false start will be fined one guinea, to be paid before the horse starts. ” ° The first race each day to start at twelve o’clock precisely. The bell will be rung a quarter of an hour before each race. Races to be run under the Rules of the Newmarket Club. Three horses to start in each race or no public money will bo given. Second horse to save his stake in each race except the Consolation. All dogs found on the course will be destroyed. All disputes to bo settled by the Stewards, whose decision shall be final. G. F.
