MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION
or THE HAWKE’S BAY STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY, ■. (Limited). 1. Tho name of the Company is the Hawke’s Bay Steam Navigation Company, Limited. 2. The registered office of the Company is to be established in the Province of Hawke’s Bay. 3. The objects for which the Company is established, are “ the conveyance of passengers, “ goods, and live stock on steam ships or boats “ between such places as the Company may from “ time to time determine, and the doing all such “ other things as are incidental or conducive to the “ attainment of the above objects.” 4. The liability of the shareholders is limited. 5. .The nominal capital of the Company is Ten Thousand Pounds, divided into Five Hundred Shares of Twenty Pounds each, with power to increase it by the issue of new shares. We the several parties or persons whose names and addresses are subscribed, are desirous of being formed into a Company in pursuance of the memorandum of association, and we respectively agree to take the number of shares in the capital of toe Company set opposite to our respective names.
