. The Country Elections. —Messrs. Tiffen and Tube have been returned for the Te Aute district, -without opposition, and it is reported that Capt. Lambert and Mr. Johnston will bo returned for the district of Waipukurau. With respect to the nomination for Porangahau, there was no candidate for election, and a fresh notice has been issued.
