The following vessels are now in port —Wonga Wonga, Victoria, Zillah, Tere, Fffort, Maid of Tanranga, William and Julia, Eliza, Gipsy, Hawk. Extract from a letter dated 13th December from Poverty Bay : —“ The schooner Dolphin, and cutter Lapwing, have both returned again from Auckland for cattle. The schooner Queen, is daily expected from the, coast, to fill up again with wool for Auckland. We shall send away from 38 to 40 bales this season, all Turanga wool.”
