Mr. TV, I). Barnard reports the market well supplied with low-priced hacks, but still great enquiries for first class saddle and light harness
horses and heavy draught stock. At the weekly sale held on Saturday last, at the White Hart Sale Yards, eleven hacks a mixed mob in low condition, broken and unbroken, from Nelson, were disposed of at an average of £29 15s per head ; also seven useful saddle horses at prices from £25 to £46 per head, averaging £34; Sixteen mares and geldings, ex Tyra, from Wellington, were sold by private contract at £29 per head; one pair working bullocks, £3O ; three heifers, each £5 10s, £6 12s, £8 Bs. —Lyttelton Times, Nov. 19.
