Mr. Jaxiscit reports that at liis large sale of land on Thursday last, the following properties were disposed of:—The Napier Steam Mill, for £1,150, Mr. J. M. Stuart; Block of laud adjoining the Mill, having 132 feet frontage to Shakspeare-road, £305, same purchaser; Block of land with house, having GG feet frontage to Shakspeare-road, near the Union Bank of Australia, and lately in the occupation of Mr. J. Rose, for £250, S. G-. Brandon ; House and land in Shakespeare Road occupied by Peter Searles, for £l3O, L'r. Grace; Lease of Shakespeare Bakery, with 11 years to run, for £l5O, Mr. J. Doherty. Of the remaining properties put up, two cottages and land in Shakespeare-road were bought in at £SS ; 330 acres near Pukctapu, at 15s. per acre ; and .V acre lots 30 and GO, township of Havelock, at £2O each.
