Death of Charlton the Jockey. —John Charlton, the celebrated jockey, died on July 27, at Malton, of comsuniplion. lie was especially famous for riding Blink Bonny in the Derby and Oaks, when that mare achieved her memorable victories at Epsom in 1817. Both the heroine and her rider on that occasion are now gone, Biink Bonny having also died at the commencement of the present season.
