Roberton, Browne, Martin, Leadam, Knowles, Parsons, 3 children, Miss Harriet Gordon. — V. Janisch, agent. SAILED. September 4 —Hose Ann schooner, Duncan, for Auckland, via East Coast, with 4to bushels wheat, 125 bushels maize, and 2 casks port.—G. E.G. Richardson, agent. September 6 Gil Bias, Brig, 173 tons. Miles, toi’ Auckland, with 70 head cattle. Passengers,— Messrs. Alley, Shcrson, and 1 in steerage.—Stuart, Kinross, & Co., agents. September, 6 —Mountain Maid, 192 tons, Kenny for Lyttelton, with 250 tons coals, part of original cargo from Sydney.—F. Sutton agent. September B—Surprise,B— Surprise, schooner, 5G tons, Braund, lor Auckland, with part of the original cargo from W ollington, and 3 tons oil, G Forester & Co.: 300 bags wheat (1167 bushels) G. E. G Richardson ; 168 bags wheat (610 bushels) Maltby & Co. ; 177 bags wheat (560 bushels) J- Watt.—Maltby & Co., agents. September 10— Queen, s.s., 200 tons, Pole, for the Southern Ports. The steamer Queen arrived here from Auckland on Tuesday morning last, about 9 o’clock, having made the passage in 47 hours. She spoke the Matilda Wattenhach, about 15 miles from Auckland, 102 days out, with the loss of main and raizeu topgallant masts, whilst rounding the Cape. She had 375 passengers, the first detachment for the Nonconformist settlement of Albertland. There were 2 births and 6 deaths on board during the voyage, the latter including the death of one of the boys through falling from the rigging, being great ly mutilated. The Queen was loaded with passengers for the diggings at Otago, having above 100 on board, altogether. She left again yesterday at noon, for the Southern Provinces, with the English Mail. The Montezuma was laid on foi’ Melbourne, to load with timber. The Zillah, and the Victoria, were both laid on for Napier again. The mail by the former was to be closed in Auckland on Thursday, this day. A brig was signalled yesterday evening supposed to be the Montezuma, from Napier.—Southern Cross. The Victoria, schooner, Kean, master, ai’rived in the harbour, from Napier, yesterday, after a brisk run of 41 days. She brings twenty head of cattle in good condition.— lbid. The schooner Zillah, Joseph Sullivan master, five days from Napier, also came to an. anchor at this port, yesterday. She started with twentyfive fat bullocks and lost three on the passage.— Ibid. Naval and Military.— The only event which we have to record is the return of 11.M.5. Harrier, from Wellington. She returns immediately to the south, for the purpose of taking his Excellency the round of the Middle Island settlements. Sir Malcolm McGregor, the commander of the Harrier has received his promotion, and will bo replaced by Commander Sullivan, who is expected to arrive by next mail. —Southern Cross.
