SAILED. July 17 — Zilldh, brigantine, 68 tons, Jacob, for Auckland, with 25 head of Cattle. July 20— Lapwing, cutter, 50 tons, Fernandez, for Auckland, in ballast. Passengers,—Mr. and Mrs. Brown and 2 children, Messrs. Wilson, Braund, Renouf, 11. Evans, Lingard, Stonehouse, Christey, Dorsey, and 4 others. —Master Agent. The Brig Gil Bias, Captain Miles, from Newcastle, bound to Napier, put into this port in distress on Friday last. She encountered very severe gales during the voyage; on the 24th June a sea struck the vessel sweeping her decks, carrying away her bulwarks, galley and water casks. She was 17 days out from Newcastle, and was short of water : she will be repaired here and proceed on her voyage.— Wellington Independent, July 11.
