The sale of the lease of Educational reserves took place oa the 15th. The selling of the various blocks was put out to tender, Mr. Danvers being the successful competitor. The following lots were disposed of at the rates indicated, no bids being oifered for the remaining ones.—Lot 2. having 319 feet frontage to Clyde road £2 15s. 6d., Koch ; Lot 3. 369 feet frontage to Clyde I’oad, £3 195., A. Luff ; Lot 4. 307 feet frontage to Clyde road, £4 15s. 6d., P. Searles ; Lot 5. 560 feet frontage to Clyde road, ,£l4 9s. A. Kennedy. Mr. Danvers reports that there was a good attendance at the sale of the Carlyle Tavern, held yesterday. . The property was sold to Mr. Sebley, for the sum of £530.
