POUGERE begs to inform the Gentlemen interested in the forthcoming races, that she has POUR LOOSE BOXES, well ventilated, with abundance of SUPERIOR MEADOW HAY and OLD OATS , at THE “SETTLERS’ FLAGSTAFF HOTEL,” CLIVE. N.B.—Pirst-rate accommodation in the house, and none but the very best Ales and Spirits kept. Hawke’s Bay Naval and Military Settler’s Act, 1861. [An error having occurred in the previous advertisements, the following is corrected for general information :—j "'VTOTICE is hereby given to those who have _Li left the Army or Navy prior to the 9th day of June, 1858, and who may be entitled to select land free of cost, under the above Act, that the limitation of six months granted by clause 111 therein, and during which only applications for land orders arc to bo made, expires on the Cth of March next; and that after that date they will be disqualified from the benefits of tho Act. It is also further notified that all applications for land orders by parties who have left the Army or Navy since the 9th day of June, 1858, must bo made “ within twelve calender months next after such retirement or discharge and if anj'JApplication for land should bo simultaneous with another of a cash purchaser, the laud will be put up to auction under the Waste Lauds Act, 1858, Subsection 3, of Section I. The Military Settlers to be allowed the upset price without payment, and to pay the difference between that and the auction price. H. S. TIPFEN, Commissioner Crown Lands.
