Entrance £1 Is., for horses that have started during*this meeting and not won a race. Post Entrance. Entries to be made immediately after the Welter Stakes, to be handicapped by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint. All disputes to be settled by the Stewards, whose decision will be finalBell to ring for saddling each day at half-past 11 a.m., and to start at noon precisely. Three horses to start for every race, or the public money will not be given. Entrances for all races, excepting the Maori Race, the Scurry Stakes, and Consolation Stakes, to be made to Mr. Ferrers, at the Golden Fleece Hotel, before 8 o’clock p.m., on the 27th February, 1862. and to be publicly read the same evening. Rules of the Napier Turf Club to be adhered to. N o horse to bo entered for any of the above races, except by a subscriber of two guineas to the Fund. Applications for booths to be made to the Stewards on the 27th day of February, at the Golden iuccco Hotel at 8 o’clock p.m. Each application to be accompanied by a fee of £3 3s. for the license winch will be returned if the application is refused.
