Prom Sydney we have Palthe Rover, a brigantine of exceedingly light draft of water. Although very deeply laden, her draft of water is only six feet nine inches. She is a new vessel, having only made one or two short trips previous to her visit hero. This vessel originally left Newcastle for Napier, but owing to some damage sustained soon after her departure, and a misunderstanding between the owner and the master she put into Sydney. She finally left Port. Jackson on the 29th ult, and after experiencing' the most tinsettled weather, strong gales>nd calms alternating, she arrived in our harbor on the 19th Inst. The Sea Serpent has had a remarkably quick passage from Wellington. She arrived on Saturday forenoon last, having left Port Nicholson on’.'thc evening of the preceding Thursday.
