After the sale of the above, the land was offered ;—|-acre sections in rear of the Royal hotel were sold at from £6 10s. to £25 10s.; one i-acre section opposite the Canteen fetched £22; and an acre in Chaueerroad was knocked down at £3llos. Town sections of H avolock were parted with at £2O 10s.
