December 13 —Tere, schooner, 17 tons, Telra, for Wairoa, with 7 bags sugar. 5 pkgs. merchandise, 15 bags flour, and 2 bags salt. December 17 —Effort, schooner, 32 tons, Kopu, for Wairoa, with 7 bags sugar, 6 cases merchandise. Passengers— Messrs. Carroll, Lawrence, and Peakman, Mrs. Peakman & 2 children, 60 natives—Master agent. December 17— Emu, ketch, 27 tons, M’lvor, for Wellington, in ballast, J. Buchanan, agent. December 18— Victoria, schooner, 5G tons, Kean, for Auckland, with bales wool, (7251b5.),l boiler, 2 pkgs—6 male passengers. The Sea Serpent, which arrived on the 12th inst., had a pleasant passage, and was the bearer of the English Mail. She landed cargo at Bare Island, Blackhead, and Mangakuri. The schooner Esther, Capt Campbell, arrived in port yesterday, from Napier, which placo she left on the 27th ult., and has called at several places on the road for wool, about 35 bales of which she has brought up.— Spectator, Dec. 4. The iron-cased Warrior— the mightiest ship of war in the world—left Greenhithe on the morning of Sept. 19, and by favor of line weather and a clear moon, made her way safely down channel as far as Portsmouth, where she arrived at on early hour on the 20th.
