WHERE IS THE MAP?

To the Editor of the JlawJce's Bay Times. Sir, —lt is now a good many months ago that a sum was placed on the estimates for the purpose of preparing a map of Napier to he hung in the Council Chamber for the use of the public. I happened to be in the Council Chamber the other day, and I could not see anything of such a map. Where is it ? Has it been stolen ? Is it lost ? Is it bung somewhere out of sight ? Or is it not ready yet ? If not, when will it be ? If you can answer all or any of these queries, you will confer an obligation on Yours, &c., Magna Charta.
