61 Casualties on Corfu from Italian Bombing
LONDON, Dec. 26. The Greek Ministry of Home Security reports that on Christmas day the Italian Air Force again bombed Corfu, killing 21 and wounding 40, mostly women and children. Since the outbreak of war, Corfu has been bombed 23 times. A Greek communique states that the Isle of Leucas was also bombed, but there was no damage or casualties.
