REMINDERS
The Hastings Boys' Band will present a musical programme in Windsor Park, Hastings, on Sunday evening next. Dalgety and tio., Ltd., in an advertisement in this issue draw attention to the sale on their Waipukurau premises of the well known freekold property WhaTatoka station. All Church and Bible Class members of the Hastings Methodist Church are invited to join in the family picnic to-morrow (New Year's Day) in connection with the annual Sunday school picnic at the Tomoana Show Grounds. The train will leave Hastings at 9.15 and a happy day in pleasant surroundings is assured. The picnic is open to all the public who desire to attend and hot water is provided free "for all picnickers. A Watcinight service will be held this evening at 11.30 to which people of all denominations are heart* ily invited. Readers seeking a bright way of seeing the Old Year out and welcoming the new, are reminded of the Napier Swimming Club's dance in the Forest«ra' Hall, Napier, to-night.
