WEALTHY MAN'S DEATH
Found Shot Dead on Yacht (Received 31, 9.30 a.m.) LOS ANGELES, Dec. 29. A coastguard cutter brought in the raotor-yaeht Aafge, which was found helplessly adrift off the Mexican coast. It is believed that the owner, Mr Dwight Faulding, a wealthy hotel proprietor, who was on board, had been shot dead. He had gone out on a cruise with five friends, three of whom were women, The yacht was short of food and water. The vessel's distress was first noted when a hugq SOS was seen painted on the sails.
