AUCKLAND, Last Night. Overcast and windy weather was experienced for the second day of the Auckland Trotting Club's summer meeting at Epsom to-day and the attendance was 9000. The track was fast and the totalisator handled £37,943, as compared with £22,010 10s last year, the increase being £15,932 10s. Lucky Jack led out from King's Warrior, Willow 'Wave and Tempest with a gap to Indianapolis. Bonny Azure broke at the start. At the mile Indianapolis had made up most of his handicap and the field ran in Indian file at intervals of a length along the back for the last time. Indianapolis then moved up fast to Lucky Jack and entering the straight Willow Wave joined the leaders. In a fast finish Willow Wave beat Lucky Jack by half a length with two lengths to Indianapolis and half a length to King's Warrior who was fourth.
