Five horses fell at this spot on the Randwick racecourse, Sydney, when the first division of the Novice Handicap was being run on December 18. Bronze Tulip is seen falling, and four of the other horses also fell. M. Papworth, rider of Bronze Tulip, was fatally injured, and four other riders were injured. Two of the horses were killed.
