Holidays Affect Business.
Business began to brighton up in Waipukurau yesterday morning, although there will be no real recovery until after the New Year holidays. A large number of Waipukurau residents are holiday-making in other parts of the Dominion and many are camping on the beaches at Pourerere, Porangahau and Kairakau, Some families will not return until the school vacation ends in February. Shops dealing in articles of food, grocers' shops especially, are finding that business is already improving.
