; The death took place at the Napier Public Hospital* at an early hour this jnorning of Mr Thomas Norris, who was well-known in Hastings. The funer.al will leave the Church of England to-i.-orrow for the Hastings Cemetery, at • 10.30 a.m. The late Mr Norris was 43 years of age, ancT came' to New Zealand from England some 12 years ago. During that timo he lived in Hastings, as a mernber of the staff of the Grand Hotel. During the wai*, the late Mr Norris served in Erance with the Imperial Forces, and since coming to New Zea- ' land, had. been a mernber Y)f the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association. His brother xesides in Wellington.
