Victory in Hastings Tennis Tournament MRS. MILBURN WINS The New Zealand singles champion, D. C. Coombe, won the men's singles event yesterday in the annual tournament of the Hastings Lawn Tennis Club Finals in all championship events except the combined doubles, were concluded yesterday. The doubles will be iinalised to-day. Coorj.be was not seriously troubled by FerkiiiS ir. the final, but the wonien's singles title-holder, Mrs R. H. Milburn, Napier, only re'ained her title against Miss Glenny, after losing the first set and having to play bard to win the next two. The men's doubles provided the best match of the day, a tussle between D. C. Coombe and J. N. Lowry and M. Ferkins and N.
