Canon Woodward was the ofiiciating minister, and Mr. J. Holmes Runnicles presided at the organ. , , The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a slim-fitting gown of ivory lace patterned in ^ rose design, with high neck-line finished with white gardenias. The sleeves were long and pointed at the wrists. and the skirt, swathing on the hips, fell into a graceful train. Her small white fitting cap/ with circular veil, was worn over the face during the ceremony. She ear-

ried an arm sheath of Longiflorum liiies. - ., Mrg. R. J. Stevens, sister of the bride, assisted as matron of honour and was dressed in shell-pink lace, cut witli low square neck, fitting tightly to the waist and falling into a full flared skirt. She earried an arm-!#heath o± pink carnations and daisies. Mr. R. J. Stevens, Wellington, was best man. The bride 's parents gave a reception at their home in Russell street, where Mrs. Ware received her guests, wearing a navy and white ensemble with matching accessories. She earried a bouquet of red carnations. Assisting her was the bridegroom's motlier, who wore a fawn suit, with black hat and a bouquet of inauveeoloured flowers. The toast cf the bride and bridegroom was proposed by Mr. W. Dudley, an old friend of the family, and the bridegroom suitably replied.
