TESTED RECIPE

RASPBERRY SYRUP. While raspberries are stauding in any v'essel preparatory to -fsaking them into jam, a eertain quantity of liquid diains to the bottom. This liquid tends to make the jam thin, and it fe a good plan to pour it off and make syrup of it. To every pint of liquor allow one pound of sugar. Boil in an enamel saucepan for 15 or 20 minutes. A small quantity with water or lemonade makes a delicious drink.
