McGIashans' Ltd. McGlashans report the following prices realised at their recent saies: The season's fruit is fully 10 to 14 days later in ripening than for sorae years past. This is especially noticeable with tomatoes. Generally by Christmas large quantities of outdoor grown tomatoes are on the market, while this season the outdoor tomatoes .had not made an appearange. Consequently, glasshouse tomatoes are selling at high prices, averaging between lOd and 1/1 per lb. Yesterday's prices were: Apples, new season's Gravensteins, to 5/9| case; apricots, 5/- \ case; black »urrants, 7d to 7Jd lb.; beans, French and scarlet runners to 4d. a lb; cabbage, drumhead, 6d. each; cucumbers, 7/9 J-case; cauliflower 5/- dozen; grapefruit, 6/- to 8A bushel; gooseberries l^d. a lb; lettuce, 2/6 to 4/- case; leinong, 4/6Jd a case; loganberries 7d to 8d. a lb; marrows 3/6 to 5/3 dozen; onions, Canadian, 14/6 bag: potatoes, 6/- to 7/- sugar bag peaches, Briggs' 7/3 J case;* plums. Wright's, 5/- J-case; raspberries, 1/- lb. in buckets; strawberries lld to 1/2 ,}lb. pynnet; tomatoes, 7Jd to 8.?d lb; fresh eggs, 1/7 to 1/9 dozen.
