The children of the Waikoau school helcj their school picnic at Waipatiki beaeh, and kad a most enjoyablo day. Each child receivod a gift from tho Christmas tree and there was a plentiful supply of cakes, fruit, sweets and soft drinka, thanks to the generpsity of Boveral donors. Tho school prizes lyere pregented duriug the afterI noon.
