AUCKLAND, Last Night. Although the lundheOn given by the A ucldand Harbour Board to-day was in nonour of Captain Burgess and the crew of thc Centaurus, the men from the tsainoan Clipper of Pan-American Airways were nofc overlooked. Captain Musick and members of his crew in addition to Mr. Harold Gatty were all guests at the functioi. Among the other guests were Major A. E. Purvis, representing the GovernorGeneral (Viscount Galway); the Minister of Marine, Hon. P. Fraserj ,the At-torney-General, Hon. H. G. E. Mason; the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. W. Lee Martin; Bear-Admiral Drummond; the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis; GroupOaptain T. M. Wilkes, Controller of Civil Aviation; Plight-Lieutenant Lester, officer commanding the Hobsonville Air Base; Mr. N. S. Palla, chairman of Union Airways and also chairman and managing director of the Union Steam Ship Company; and Mr. F. Maurice Clarke, general manager of Union Airways. Both Captain Burgess, senr., father of the commander of.the Centaurus, and Captain D. Burgess, au older brother, were present and the guests also ineluded representatives of shipping and commercial interests in the city.
