Semi-Final Play In Tournament

DETAILS OF GAMES

Semi-final play has been reached in the annual tournament of the Hastings Lawn Tennis Club. The semi-finals are to be played this morning, and it is hoped to complete the tournament ^today. D. C, Coombe, the New Zealand singles champion, reached the semifinals, and will play N. Oampbell^ Wanganui, who defeated J. N. Lowry in the fourth round. M. Eerkins, Wellington, will meet A. L. Eitchie in the other semi-final. In the women 's singles Mrs B. H. Milburn, last year's winner, will meet Miss M. Budd. Wellington, in the semi-final, and Miss G. St. George, Auckland, and Miss M. Glenny, are in the other half. Tn the women 's doubles, Mrs Cotterill and Mrs Milburn, last year 's winners. will meet Mrs Adams, Levin, and Miss St. George in the top half, and Misses Glenny and Budd and Mrs Mawson and Mrs Hassel are in the other half.
