Japan's Determination To Attain Objectives DIET ADJOURNS (By Telegraph— Presa AgBn.— Oopyrfght.) (Received 29, 9.30 a,m.) TOKIO, Dec. 28. The Diet before adjourning for the New Year recess passed a vote of thanks to the forces operating in China. Both Houses also adopted addresses from the Throne, and in reply to the Emperor's speech they recorded their grim determination to attain "the ultimate objective of the punitive expedition against China,"
