DELICIOUS PUDDING. Ingredients: 3oz. good beef dripping, 3oz. sugar, 2oz. any kind of jam, } cup milk, i teaspoonful baking powder, pinch of salt, 8oz. flour. Method: Mix together the dripping and' sugar, add the jam, then the milk mixed with the baking powder and salt and lastly the flour, A little less flour is needed if the jam is heavy. Half a teaspoonful of ginger may be added and also a little nutmeg. The foundation mixture for this pudding may be used with coconut sultanas, dates, etc. The pudding should be steamed for almost two hours. (Mrs. F. Dean's recipe.)
