MUNICIPAL THEATRE
"REDHEADS ON PARADE" AND "HARD EOOK HAREIGAN." Ehythmic, fast-pased, gorgeously mounted, filled with gay tunes and glamorous gixlS;, "Bedheads on Barade,, screens at the Municipal Theatre to-night. 'The burden of the action of this hilarious new musical comedy falls on the capable shoulders of John Boles and adorable Dixie Lee who carry out their assignments in fresh and admirable style. Supported by Jack Haley, Alan Dinehart, Raymond Walburn, Herman Bing and William Austin, and by gorgeous ensembles of adorable redheads, they play the romantic leads in this rhapsody on red. As for the plot of ''Redheads on Parade," it is a deliciously amusing story about the production of motion pietures. Dinehart is the producer, Boles is the star, but right in the middle of the production they lind themselves with no picture at all, becadse their backers have backed out. George O'Brien gives one of the best perforniances of his career in "Hard Rock Harrigan," which is the second feature. The story, which is replete with dramatic suspense, fa3t-moving action and pleasing romance, concerns a feud between a husky hardrock driller, Ulayed by George Q'Brien, and his tunnel boss, por£rayedxby Fred Kohler, who are engaged in drilling a tunnel through a mountainside to complete a gigantic aqueduct project. The action occurs principally in a construction camp and deep within the interior of the tunnel.
