KILLED HIS SWEETHEART
NEW YOBK, Dec. 27. Vincent Franco, aged 26, killed his sweetheart, Antoinette Imperiale, aged 22, on a vacant section in full view of dozens of spectators. He beat her on the head with an iron pipe and shot her several times, then drove a car over her body. Surrounded by a silent crowd, Franco passively awaited the poliee, whom he told the girl hacl refused to marry him.
