FIRE IN ASYLUM
At Least Eight Lives Lost PARIS, Dec. 26. Afc least eiglit lives were lost in a fire following Christmas celebrations at Montredon lunatic asylum, near Le Puy, with accommodation for 3000. The fire spread to the violent section, causing panic among the 100 inmates. Attendants, aided by firemen and Mobilo Guards, controlled and rescued-the majority. Twelve escaped during the confusion.
